Privacy Policy

The data controller is Primev, Inc. Email privacy@primev.xyz.

• Device and usage data. Pages viewed, device type, browser, approximate location from IP, and similar diagnostics, collected through cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics (GA4), Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights.
• Communications. If you email us, we receive the address and message you send.
• Referral and campaign data. Source or campaign that referred you, when present, so we can understand how people find primev.xyz.

Lookup is an invite-gated draft checker. Independent checkers look up public sources and stamp atomic claims red, green, or amber as of the time of the run. It is not legal advice, not a truth oracle, and not Ethereum protocol consensus. Access uses a shared invite code, not a personal account. Anyone with the code can use the product.

• Invite session. The access code is stored in your browser for the session so you do not have to re-enter it. We do not treat the code as an account identifier.
• Drafts. Text you paste, or a file you drop (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or plain text, up to 4 MB), plus filename, size, and extracted text needed to run the check.
• Public-source queries. Short claim snippets and search queries sent to public references (for example court and encyclopedia search APIs) so checkers can stamp the claim.
• Stored runs. A completed check may be saved so we can examine misses and improve the checker. This is a quality-review store, not a client vault, and not enterprise document custody. A saved run can include source text, filename metadata, extracted claims, public source URLs, verdicts, timing, a run id, an anonymous analytics session id, a random pilot id, work-kind metadata (sample, retry, new work, or recheck), and standard request data such as user agent. The product shows the run id when a run is saved.
• Pilot id. During invite we may store a random identifier in your browser (local storage) so we can tell a new document from a retry across visits. It is not an account. It is not used as a login. Clear site data to remove it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not set or send this id.
• Lookup analytics. Funnel and outcome events (for example unlock, upload, check started, check finished, report opened, rewrite, recheck, copy, download) may include an event name, step, run id, an anonymous session id, a pilot id, work kind, file type, claim counts by stamp, and elapsed time. They do not include document text, claim text, invite code, email, or password. Copying or downloading is treated as an intervention signal, not as proof that a finding was correct.
• Sign-in prompt. If you type an email and password into the in-product sign-in prompt, that prompt is local to your browser today. The password is not sent to our servers. We do not use that email as an account identifier unless we say so in a later update of this policy.

Do not upload material you are not allowed to share with Primev or with the public services the checkers query. If a draft is privileged or covered by a confidentiality agreement, do not use Lookup unless you have authority to share it with us for this purpose.

We use this information to operate primev.xyz, run Lookup, improve our products, measure how the site is used, and respond to you. We do not use Lookup document contents for ads personalization, and we do not send Lookup document contents to advertising platforms.

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only with:

• Processors acting on our behalf, including hosting and analytics (Google Analytics and Vercel), under contracts that limit their use to providing services to us.
• Public lookup sources (Lookup only): short queries derived from claims, sent only to retrieve public records.
• Legal and safety: where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months, then deleted or aggregated. Lookup runs are kept only as long as needed to review checker quality, then deleted or aggregated. Communications are kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records.

Depending on where you live (including under the California CCPA/CPRA and other US state laws, and the EEA/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent. Email privacy@primev.xyz. For a Lookup run, include the run id shown in the product. A shared invite code is not an account. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required. When GPC is on, Lookup does not send custom funnel events. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are intended for adults only, 18 years of age or older (or 21+ where required). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice before the change takes effect.
